Company Mission:

Storyshares empowers older striving readers to rediscover the joy of reading by offering a curated library collection designed just for them. We offer a continuously expanding selection of over 500 engaging and relevant decodable and high-low titles catering to a wide range of reading abilities and interests. Furthermore, we support educators with a comprehensive suite of literacy resources and professional development opportunities. This ensures that educators can effectively bridge the Science of Reading with culturally relevant content, fostering significant literacy growth for students in grades 3-12.

  • "I didn’t like to read before I came here. I never used to read. But thanks to the teachers and coaches, I love reading now. I grabbed three books that I didn’t understand at first, but I was able to finish a book. I love the [Storyshares] books." -Student, 7th Grade
  • “The reason I like the [Storyshares] book is that it makes me forget something that happened before we came to this class, something that makes me relax.” – 9th grader, male, newcomer/ELL
  • “Kianalizy didn’t like to challenge herself before and would only read comic books. Ever since the [Storyshares] reading program she reads books for her age. We have a family book club at home and she never participated until this year. I was shocked! She started the book at the same time we did and she finished the book faster than I did. I did also notice her grades went up so I am really happy about that.” – Wandaliz Rivera (student’s mother) – student participated in summer 2024 and 24-25 school year Storyshares/Hope for Youth and Families in literacy programs
