Across the country, literacy nonprofits are changing lives every day. We’re honored to shine a light on their incredible work—stories filled with hope, resilience, and meaningful impact. This space is dedicated to sharing their efforts and honoring the difference they’re making in their communities.
A literacy solution to empower and engage striving readers beyond the 3rd grade.
We meet underserved readers wherever they are, providing culturally inclusive decodable texts written for older readers. Storyshares Decodable Chapter books are filled with diverse, relatable, and compelling characters, brought to life with accessible language and formatting.
Storyshares empowers older striving readers to rediscover the joy of reading by offering a curated library collection designed just for them. We offer a continuously expanding selection of over 500 engaging and relevant decodable and high-low titles catering to a wide range of reading abilities and interests. Furthermore, we support educators with a comprehensive suite of literacy resources and professional development opportunities. This ensures that educators can effectively bridge the Science of Reading with culturally relevant content, fostering significant literacy growth for students in grades 3-12.
Your generosity powers our mission to expand our volunteer network and create content that moves communities to action. When you join the Children's Literacy Project, you're investing in resources that connect passionate volunteers with children who need them most.
